Important Update for Lake Ridge New Tech Schools Families

Beginning July 1, 2026, Senate Bill 78 (SEA 78), signed by Governor Mike Braun, will require Indiana public schools to implement updated cell phone expectations during the school day.

At Lake Ridge New Tech Schools, we are committed to creating focused learning environments that support student success, minimize distractions, and encourage positive face-to-face interactions.

On Friday May 29th, we celebrated the retirement of our registrar Miriam Eckenrode. Over her 20 year career with Lake Ridge Schools, Ms. Eckenrode touched the lives of students and staff alike. We thank her for her dedication, positive attitude and service.
