Re-purposing life Longhaul Farm is a small-scale, human-powered, organic family farm in upstate New York.
It's built around principles of ecological balance: committing to zero waste by using compost, animal and plant manures to feed the soil instead of chemicals; raising diverse crops, herbs and flowers to naturally keep away pests and disease; working at a small enough scale that most everything is done by human hands; and finding joy in the simple pleasure of being able to walk into your backyard to pick dinner.
2017 CSA shares are available!
We are in our 6th CSA season, happily growing organic, pesticide-free, herbicide-free, naturally-fertilized produce for our community. CSA members can purchase shares of our season's harvest and in return will receive weekly baskets of freshly harvested produce throughout the growing season. Not just a place to pick-up your vegetables, we also are a space for community members to meet, socialize and look out for each other. Together, we'll all hope for rain and fair weather, few pesky pests, and a bountiful harvest. Please join us this year! Details on our website:
