Hope in Christ
A page promoting the teachings of Jesus Christ
Faith is a verb. Hope is a verb. Charity is a verb. When we have any of these Christlike attributes, we show them thru our actions. The Lord reminds us to not fear to do good. My fellow followers of Christ. Go and Do some Good in your world today.
As believers in God and peaceable followers of Christ, we should always have hope. Hope for a better world. Hope for a better life. Not a wish, but a “more excellent hope“ that is born out of faith in our Father and His Son, Jesus Christ to be the provider of all the good things to come.
Happy Sabbath! He says to be believing even in our days of unbelief. Believe that He is, was, and will be forever your friend and Advocate before our Father. He will plead our cause and his fallen followers yet devoted disciples! He is there to lift you up out of a fallen world because He has overcome the world!

Two weeks ago in Seattle President Eyring spoke along with President Nelson at Safeco field to 49,000 Latter Day Saints. What Pres Eyring said is a sit up and take notice moment. More changes are coming, perhaps even this General Conference, and we need to personal confirmation to know these changes are from the Lord so that we can live them.
He said “As the church moves to every nation and people and in the last days we can expect and take joy in the new messages coming from God through the prophet. The gospel will not change but we will need personal revelation to feel the hand of the Lord when practical ways of doing things are changed by the Lord through His prophet. It will also take personal revelation to be able to see that a new way of doing things is better than the ways we have enjoyed.”
President Nelson Visits the Pacific Northwest President Russell M. Nelson addressed more than 49,000 people at a devotional at Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington, Saturday, September 15, 2018.
A new day is upon us with this announcement!

Raleigh Saints, your temple is next! Posting this so members can see it will be a total gut and renovation job for the Raleigh temple. This is a picture of the Memphis temple which closed at the end of September. The second picture is what the Memphis and Oklahoma City temple will look like after the renovation is done. I assume Raleigh will look similar.
Bishop Abbott, Brother Simpson would be the first to do this.

If you can spare them, please bring paint rollers, brushes, and drop cloths (anything to protect the ground will do). We will be painting inside and outside, walls and picnic tables.
We are also looking for a tall ladder to use for painting the media center and a couple of hand seed spreaders for the football field.
If you have shovels, rakes, pitch forks and wheel barrows, please bring those as well. Make sure your names are on everything so we can get your tools back to you.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
It's going to be a great day!!
