💦🚒 LAYING WATER DOWN & LIFTING HEAVY THINGS UP! 💪🔥

A & B Shift crews were putting in the work during training this week, focusing on water flow operations and the use of lifting air bags.

From moving serious amounts of water to lifting heavy objects, these hands-on evolutions help our firefighters build the skills, confidence, and teamwork needed when the call is real.

💦 Lay it down.
💪 Lift it up.
🚒 Train hard. Be ready.

All in the name of training—and being ready to serve our community when it matters most!

🔥 B-Shift Putting in the Work! 🔥

🚪 This past Friday, crews spent the day sharpening their forcible entry skills, practicing the techniques and tools needed to gain access to buildings quickly and safely when seconds matter.

🔥 Then on Saturday, those same crews joined our friends at Fairview Fire Department for live fire training. This hands-on training gives our firefighters the opportunity to work in realistic fire conditions while reinforcing fire attack, search, ventilation, teamwork, and incident command skills.

Training like this helps ensure our firefighters are prepared to respond when our community needs us most.

A big THANK YOU to Fairview Fire Department for working alongside us and providing a great opportunity for joint training!

Thank you, Kat, for demonstrating what “NEVER FORGET” truly means!!

**NEVER FORGET!**
First responders, town staff and citizens all came together today to honor the sacrifices made and the lives lost 25 years ago. 9/11 lives in the memories of many here today and we pray that all of us always remember those lost and may we “Never Forget”. Thank you, Dena, for the great photos.
