Wow. I just really haven't posted anything in a really long time. There's a lot going on here.
We moved my Mom down from PA to an apartment here last summer and she needs a lot of help. Plus we have a new, way early school schedule so I pretty much live in the carpool lane. I usually spend the rest of my time with a paint brush in hand but I've been painting more walls than furniture lately.
This past week I decided to remove the giant 8ft long mirror in my bathroom. I wanted a mural wall but my man wasn't on board with my "giant, bold leaves" idea so I painted a soft watercolor mural and found some pretty mirrors. Next up, painting the rest of the bathroom walls and eventually the dark cabinets.

I gotta tell you, my cousins share some of the best stuff. I'm still over here laughing at this one! 😂😂😂

This *BEAST* is in the shop for a makeover, I can't even begin to tell you how heavy this is. It was handmade with more wood than you can imagine, I'm pretty sure it would survive any number of nature disasters. 😬 Currently taking volunteers for delivery help. 😱

Sheesh, it was a busy week last week getting ready for my girl's birthday party. Somewhere in the midst of the chaos I managed to finally finish painting and deliver this bench. (With the help of my awesome hubby of course!)
It started out as an antique headboard on in rough shape but turned out pretty great!

I love my Babylock sewing machine with all the fancy features but sometimes she chokes when there are too many layers of upholstery fabric.
This "Granny" Singer 201-2 is 69 years old, she just rolls her eyes, chews through all the layers and says, "it that all you got?" ❤️
