Seems like the last few years, AMC engines have spawned back up. We’ve done quite few in that time but this has to be one of the nicer ones we’ve built! Custom roller cam, Molner rods, forged custom piston’s, aluminum heads, Harland sharp rockers, and topped off with fuel injection! And, we did all the oil mods to help it turn up some more. Should run well in that FJ10.

Got a pretty cool project coming soon with this customers ride. Gonna turn that stock Mach 1 into a bad machine! Stay tuned.

So we are one of the only companies in eastern NC that align bores and align hones blocks. Especially, with aftermarket cap conversions. Here, we are align boring a coyote with TKM billet caps and a 2JZ with billet caps from Real St! Not all caps are the same. Both companies make excellent quality caps which line up well and take only about .025 to bore. We leave about .002-.003 and then it goes to the align hone for finish!

Well, had a good time at the Good guys today! Lots of nice cars. Also, nice seeing customer projects from time-to-time. This is Ray Suggs 98 Camaro that we built a really nice LS for well over 10 years ago. Car is so clean and Ray and his son did such a nice job with lots of mods. Sounds mean too!

We get asked this all the time, but yes we still work on the on old Ford platforms. We actually do alot of them still. And one of those is the FE, which those who know us know that I was surrounded by them growing up and had one for years. Here, we have a 428 for a car restoration company in Benson NC. The engine will be going in an "Eleanor" mustang project. Customer wanted basic stock CJ build with mild cam and aluminum heads. Simple build but the list includes:

Sealed Power Forged Pistons (bored .030)
CJ Rods completed resized and bushed w/ARP hardware
Competition Cams hydraulic cam and lifters
Oil Modifications (a must on FE engines)
Aluminum Heads with 2.09/1.65 SS valves
Full shaft mount aluminum rockers
Aluminum intake

Well, we stay so busy we don't have a lot of time to post. But, we are going to try and change that (not that we are lacking business because we stay months behind). But, I want to try to engage with our viewers and the public more and have Q&A sessions with intelligent individuals. We have always been Ford Specialists but we work on many different platforms. And, we have become the got to shop in Eastern NC for coyote builds. Here, we have a set of new X heads fully NHRA ported using Ferrea Racing Components and we are checking valve shrouding relative to bore size. This is the biggest valve we have installed in these heads and it's not a "one size fits all" type of thing. Depending on the GEN engine and bore size, valve size needs to work with the bore size. These heads are the pinnacle of coyote HP, as top racers like Snot Rocket and others run this same head. We get them bare from Ford Performance, machine them in house with bronze guides, new seats (different materials for different applications), and finish the valve work on the Serdi.

Haven’t posted in a long time. So busy it’s hard! This engine ran hard at Orange County this year! Can’t wait to see what it does next year! Building lots of 4 cyls for tracks in eastern NC this winter.
