This week in our summer parenting series inspired by Habits of the Household, we’re focusing on habits of intentional conversation with our children. In busy family life, even small one-on-one moments can make a lasting impact.

Try creating space this week to:
✨ spend intentional one-on-one time with each child
✨ ask thoughtful questions and truly listen
✨ talk through difficult emotions and experiences together
✨ model honesty and vulnerability in age-appropriate ways

Children learn emotional safety when they know their thoughts, feelings, and questions are welcomed with love. Sometimes healing, trust, and connection begin with something as simple as sitting together and talking.

Play is not “just playing.” 💛

Play helps children learn, grow, imagine, create, problem solve, and connect with others, but it also reflects something deeper: we were created for joy.

Some simple habits to try this week:

✨ give children opportunities for independent play and creativity
✨ make space for fun, wonder, laughter, and exploration

Not every moment of childhood needs to be structured to be productive. Sometimes the most meaningful growth happens while building forts, pretending, storytelling, and simply being together.

One of the best things about our Infant Program is how individualized it is. This is a buzz word among childcare centers, so let's make it simple: our goal is to follow the at-home routine as much as possible. This means bottles, naps, play times, and any other specific requests you need. We've got you covered!
