Flyer Defense, LLC (Flyer) is the design authority for light tactical off-road wheeled vehicles, including the Flyer 72 and Flyer 60 (which are part of its Gen II Advanced Light Strike Vehicles line). Founded in 2000, Flyer partnered with General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems to offer its Flyer 72 vehicle as the candidate for the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) GMV 1.1 competition
