I’m a CB Radio Repair Technician since the 90s I am one of the last of the old school Techs left in Southern California.
I took a 15 year break, 13 of those I was fighting cancer but against all odds I’m back !

Version 2 . I think this is what I will stick with as far as a standard build goes . What do yall think ? Still need to label everything but I switched from an external power wall wart to a USB C plug and I did mic cords in and out on the left side of the unit, with power and a external speaker plug in the back . The small black switch switches between the internal speaker to the external speaker, the variable resistor is for output volume, The Big switch is power on and off and the green led indicates that when on . Tell me what ya think as I have so many requests to build these for many of you so I want to make sure it’s up to y’all’s liking as it’s a a lot to build and program but makes for a killer toy box when done, well that’s what I think 🤔. Will do some more demo videos soon it’s been a very long week . Doug this is why I waited to send yours as I wasn’t happy with it so this is what you will get . I will load it with the same sounds and more for ya .
Those that were wanting to know what the build cost and what my cost for the noise toy boxes builds will be,
the total to build one is $80 and I’m going to sell em for $150 pre loaded with as many sounds as I can find to put on them, i will use All the popular ones and I will make some custom ones too .

I have a lot of request to build these noise toys so today I will figure out what it cost me to build em and after my drs appointment for my skin cancer biopsy results I will get to building more . Fun day out in the water once again . Mondays all summer and will be fishing . So Mondays are my day off radio work .
Ok so here’s the final version of Doug’s noise toy box,
you can see and hear how it sounds over the air and though the external speaker jack I placed on it .
I pre loaded it with 6 different sounds but each button can hold many different sounds just push the button again to move down the list . I have a lot of requests to build these so I’ve ordered what I need online to make it a little cheaper to build but I haven’t totaled that up yet, but I will soon . Tomorrow I fish . And will continue to fish once a week or more though out the summer so things will slow down a bit for a few months I’m sorry but I live for the summers . 223 Hammer Shack Repairs Waving 👋
