DO SOMETHING YOU’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO!!

Today I joined a Parkour gym.

It’s something I’ve wanted to do for years but was never confident enough to do it. I barely even had the courage to look up gyms or potential classes… But today I changed that.

I researched gyms in my area, sent an email, booked a class and showed up. When I got there one of my biggest fears came true— it was a class full of kids. In fact, the only one in the beginner class was ll of 6 years old. Normally feeling that out of place would have scared me right out the door. That feeling of being judged. But this is something I really wanted to do and was incredibly excited about, so I stayed.

I pushed my limits and found myself to be able to do some pretty cool tricks. The kids loved that I was there and I loved hanging out with them.

Conclusion— I now have a membership and going back tonight.

Don’t let the fear of being judged stop you from doing what you want to do. Life is too short, we only have one shot at this.

Be the reason someone Doesn’t five up today. Encourage, support, inspire.

So often when we want something we are looking for it to show up in a specific way or at a specific time.

This type of thinking will not only keep you from tons of opportunities, but also allow potential great days to be just average ones.

If you are constantly wanting more time to just sit and read— be open to slight variations like listening to audible during tough traffic.

If you’re needing more money and more time with your partner, be open to driving DoorDash together and reconnecting while letting the cash pile up.

Today my fight is delayed, so I choose to focus on some personal development work I haven’t been able to get to.

Life can’t be controlled, but you can control how you react to it. Make good choices.
