Despite today's heat, our after-school ECO Club had a super successful first day out in the Spring garden! Students worked hard, clearing away winter debris, helping get our space ready for the growing season ahead. Along the way, we made some exciting observations—our strawberry plants are already in bloom, the bachelor buttons are just about to flower, and we discovered not one, but two praying mantis egg cases!

The enSprout ECO Club is back in action for the spring growing season! Our little green thumbs had a blast plucking baby carrots, lettuce, and spinach that overwintered in the raised beds!

Join us for Farm Unity's Harvest Festival at the Crofton Library Community Garden on Wednesday, August 30th at 6pm. We will be making seed bombs for takeaways and volunteers will provide tasty samples of vegetables from the garden! There will be fun for the whole family!

This is a family friendly event. Can’t make it in June? We will be meeting on Sunday, July 9th 12pm - 2pm and Saturday, August 5th 10am - 12pm.

After 1 week, our “pool” garden is growing along! Thank you to for the tomato plants, they are looking lush alongside our basil! 💚 Can you spy the pumpkin and beans that already sprouted from seed?!?
