🇺🇸 Red Rock Young Marines Visit Jefferson Elementary Career Day 🇺🇸

The Red Rock Young Marines were honored to participate in Jefferson Elementary School’s Career Day, where we had the opportunity to speak with students about the many career paths available through military service and the Young Marines Program.

Throughout the event, students learned about the different branches of the United States Armed Forces, the opportunities available to those who choose to serve, and the valuable life skills that can be gained. We also shared information about the Young Marines Program and how it helps young people develop leadership, discipline, teamwork, confidence, physical fitness, and a commitment to community service.

It was inspiring to see so many students asking questions, exploring future career possibilities, and learning about the importance of setting goals and working hard to achieve them. Whether a student chooses a military career, college, trade school, or another professional path, the skills learned through programs like the Young Marines can help prepare them for success in any field.

Thank you to Jefferson Elementary School for inviting us to be part of this special event. We appreciate the opportunity to invest in the next generation of leaders and help students begin thinking about their future possibilities.

The future is bright, and we are proud to support and encourage our youth as they explore their dreams and career goals.

Today, the Red Rock Young Marines Color Guard had the honor of participating in the Window Rock Middle School Graduation Ceremony. We would like to give a special thank you and recognition to our senior Young Marines who represented our unit with the utmost professionalism, respect, and dedication throughout the event.

Their discipline, attention to detail, and pride in carrying the colors reflected the values of the Young Marines program and demonstrated true leadership in front of the community, graduates, and families in attendance.

Moments like these remind us how much our seniors have grown and how positively they continue to impact those around them. We are extremely proud of the example they set for the younger Marines coming up behind them.

🇺🇸 Red Rock Young Marines Recognized by GMCS 🇺🇸

We are incredibly proud to share that the Red Rock Young Marines were officially recognized by the Gallup-McKinley County Schools district for successfully completing the Bataan Memorial Death March.

This achievement represents far more than just finishing an event — it reflects discipline, resilience, teamwork, and unwavering determination. Each of these young men and women pushed themselves both physically and mentally to honor the legacy of those who endured the original march.

Being recognized at the district level is a testament to their hard work and commitment, and we could not be more proud of what they have accomplished together.

🇺🇸 Mission Accomplished – Bataan Memorial Death March 2026 🇺🇸

The Red Rock Young Marines of Miyamura High School proudly participated in the 2026 Bataan Memorial Death March at White Sands Missile Range—and we are proud to announce that every single one of our Young Marines successfully completed the march.

This event is more than just a physical challenge—it is a tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the heroes of Bataan. Our Young Marines demonstrated discipline, grit, teamwork, and unwavering determination from start to finish.

We could not be more proud of the effort, heart, and commitment each student displayed throughout this journey. These young leaders represented their school, their community, and the Young Marines program with honor.

Our unit had an incredible evening supporting Miyamura High School at the boys basketball game! Not only did our Young Marines proudly present the colors to kick off the varsity game, but they also worked together to run the concession stand for the night.

These photos capture more than a fundraiser — they show teamwork, responsibility, leadership, and camaraderie in action. Every member stepped up to help, whether behind the counter serving the community or marching on the court with professionalism and pride. Their efforts directly benefit the program and help us continue building strong young leaders.

We’re extremely proud of this group — their hard work strengthened the unit, helped raise funds, and reminded us all what it means to serve with honor and unity. 💪🔥

Today, the Red Rock Young Marines proudly participated in the City of Gallup Veterans Day Parade, honoring all those who have served and sacrificed for our nation.

Our Young Marines marched with pride, carrying the colors and representing the values of leadership, discipline, and service that define our program. It was a great day filled with community spirit, patriotism, and appreciation for our local heroes.

A big thank-you to the City of Gallup for hosting such a meaningful event, and to everyone who came out to show their support! ❤️💙

Today, the Red Rock Young Marines had the honor of visiting Gallup Nursing & Rehabilitation for their Veterans Appreciation Event. Our Young Marines proudly presented the colors to open the ceremony and spent time connecting with local veterans and residents.

It was a meaningful experience filled with smiles, stories, and gratitude. Our Young Marines showed compassion and respect while giving back to those who have served our country.

We’d like to thank the Gallup Nursing & Rehabilitation staff for hosting this wonderful event and for allowing us to be a part of it. ❤️

Today, the Red Rock Young Marines gathered for our monthly meeting and completed the semi-annual Physical Fitness Test. Each member gave their best effort—pushing themselves to improve their previous scores and demonstrating true determination and grit!

We are proud of every Young Marine who showed up, stayed motivated, and supported one another through the challenge. Every improvement, big or small, is a step toward greater strength, discipline, and leadership.
