Andres Romero 1952-2026

Please join us in celebrating the life of Andy Romero this Saturday, March 14th. His family and friends will gather from 10am to 2pm across from his booth, at the children’s library space.

Andy was a US Army Veteran, Gallup Flea Market Vendor for 44 years, and a friend to many. Light refreshments will be served and memories shared.

We are hosting a two-month art show/pop-up souvenir shop at ART123 Gallery this summer for the Centennial of Route 66. The goal is to feature 66 local artists--we're calling it "66 Artists on 66"--helping as many artists as possible capitalize on what will hopefully be an extra busy tourism season. We will be having extended hours at the Gallery for June and July -- and the show runs through Ceremonial too, so that's a big plus!

We are looking for Route 66-themed artwork, but that is not a super strict theme. Anything that connects to the Gallup area, culture, and history will pretty much fit the bill!

Our sincere condolences to the family of Andy Romero who passed away recently. He was a Gallup Flea Market vendor 44 years. May he rest in peace.
