Thank you to the Pinnacle Presbyterian Church in Scottsdale, Arizona, for their support of the Community Pantry!

Audrey Bush, left, and Julia Matura came to the pantry in Gallup this week with a group on a youth mission trip to donate their time and effort.

"It feels great," Bush said of giving back to the community. "It really puts things in perspective of how lucky we are, and it's great what they do here (at the pantry)."

"It always feels good to help the people who need help, like to actually go into action and do it," Matura added.

Did You Know: The Community Pantry makes distribution runs every Monday and Friday to rural communities in the region as part of our mission to ensure no child's mother goes hungry. ❤️

We've got face painting and a soda ring toss game for kids here at the Drive Out Hunger Car Show at Rio West Mall! Join us until 8 pm for a hot dog eating contest, live music, and awesome rides.

For many kids, summer break means sunshine, fun, and time off from school. ☀️

But for many families, it also means losing access to reliable school meals.

During the summer months, food insecurity rises as parents work to replace breakfast and lunch normally provided at school. That’s why our work here at The Community Pantry becomes even more important this time of year.

You can help by donating, volunteering, or spreading the word. Together, we can help make summer a little brighter, and a lot less stressful, for local families.
