Here’s to a fresh new year! It’s the Year of the Boar/Pig... so Piggie paintings are on the schedule!
Closing the year with some images of my Goats of Anarchy Series, a 30 painting collaboration with the amazing Goats of Anarchy Animal Sanctuary. I am happy to report about half the paintings sold, and I was able to donate a little over $200 to GOA. I created a calendar based on my favorite paintings. Dana Aldis, MFA, is a professional artist and teacher currently residing in Gallup, New Mexico. She is an avid portrait and plein air painter who specializes in working from a traditional palette to create timeless images of life and nature. Utilizing techniques borne of both tradition and modern innovations, her subjects radiate with depth and warmth. Her work is focused on the fathomless humor and tragic vulnerability of beauty she encounters and can be found in private collections nationwide.
