Today's recap. Cant post the video I took of jetta, who escaped yet again, because of language, so yesterday's pic will have to do 🙃

It finally feels like fall, which makes me beyond happy! Except i spent all day cleaning the house instead of enjoying the weather. Jetta escaped. We're at the point where when she sees me coming out of the house, she skips her happy behind back to the gate and waits to be let in. Infuriating creature.

Anyway, here's hoping tomorrow is a better day ❤️

Good morning everyone! Started the day with some cuddles from Doc ❤️ i will forever be obsessed with my large fowl cochins, especially the roosters! I just love these big guys

Short of spending all day out here stalking goats, how does everyone else monitor breeding? I like to be super organized, and especially with early season kiddings, I need to be prepared given the colder temps. I havent seen any breeding happening, and obviously if I notice the girls going in heat again, ill know they werent bred this first time. But if I dont see it, is it because they're pregnant or did I just not notice? This is very obviously my first time breeding goats so im gonna stress and overthink it lol

Good morning everyone! I apologize for the lack of farm shenanigans over the weekend. We took the oldest 2 kids to Lake Erie for their first walleye fishing trip! We had such a good time! But I did miss my critters ❤️ of course we started the day with Jetta escaping her field already 🙃 its gonna be a long day of work trying to get caught up and hopefully knocking a few other things out!
