Mrs. Stephens 3rd grade class with 100% of students scoring proficient or higher! 👏

5th grader, Natalie Erit, received a PERFECT score on the Ohio State Reading and a 10 out of 10 on the written portion!!! 💪

These Wildcats set a goal to have the highest STAR or Ohio State Math test scores. The highest scoring class would be allowed to challenge anyone they wanted to a water balloon fight!

Highest STAR scorers:
🥇1st place: Mrs. Day's class vs the teachers
🥈2nd place: Ms. Woodward's class vs their Breakfast Buddies
🥉3rd place: Mrs. Ferguson's class vs the other 2nd grade classes.

Highest OST Math scorers:
🥇1st place: Mrs. Stephens' class vs Mrs. McCown's class
🥈2nd place: Ms. Graham's class vs. 5th grade teachers
🥉3rd place: Mrs. Beaver's class vs Ms. Wagner's class

Down on the Farm with Washington 1st graders! 👨‍🌾🚜👩‍🌾

Washington 4th graders participated in Ag Day at the Gallia County Fairgrounds earlier this month.
This is an annual event hosted by the Gallia County Farm Bureau to teach local 4th grade students about the importance of farming, animals, and crops in everyday life.
Special thanks to the Gallia County Farm Bureau for creating fun, hands-on experiences for our kids! 🚜🐄
A BIG Wildcat Shout-Out to our very own Molly Wells for winning the Ag Day t-shirt design contest!!! Molly's artwork was selected as the official Ag Day shirt design for the entire county. Way to go, Molly!!! 💙🐾🎉

Congratulations to our former Washington Elementary students as they walk across the stage to accept their diplomas this evening!

We are excited for our upcoming Fun Fest Day at O.O. McIntyre Park! 🌳🥅🍦🌭

A few reminders and important details for the day:

🌡Temperatures will be cool in the morning, but the afternoon should be very nice. Dress in layers!
💦Due to the rain we received today, some areas of the park may still be a little wet in the morning.
👟Students should wear comfortable clothing and footwear appropriate for outdoor activities.
🚫NO shoes are permitted inside the bounce houses.
🛖Each grade level will be assigned to a shelter house area where students will:
🧥Store their belongings
🌭Eat lunch
🚍Finish their final station rotation
