Ok hey everyone this is Brent I am the creator of Got Hope? It's been a while since I have kept up with the page or group. Let's all share some positive things with one another today. Spring, 1935 - After several months of trying to carry the message of recovery with little success, Bill W. visited Dr. William Silkworth ("The Doctor's Opinion"). Whereas Bill had stressed his 'white light' experience, Dr. Silkworth suggested a different approach - address the common problem, then offer the spiritual solution. Shortly thereafter, Bill traveled to Akron where he had his first opportunity to practice this approach with Dr. Bob.
