Syed Sadiq Hussain Kazmi was born in 'Shaker Gardh', in the district of Sialkot. He lived till 91.

تو سمجھتا ہے حوادث ہیں ستانے کے لیے
یہ ہوا کرتے ہیں ظاہر آزمانے کے لیے

*تندیِ بادِ مخالف سے نہ گھبرا اے عقاب*
*یہ تو چلتی ہے تجھے اونچا اڑانے کے لیے*

کامیابی کی ہُوا کرتی ہے ناکامی دلیل
رنج آتے ہیں تجھے راحت دلانے کے لیے

نیم جاں ہے کس لیے حالِ خلافت دیکھ کر
ڈھونڈ لے کوئی دوا اس کے بچانے کے لیے

چین سے رہنے نہ دے ان کو نہ خود آرام کر
مستعد ہیں جو خلافت کو مٹانے کے لیے

استقامت سے اٹھا وہ نالہءِ آہ و فغاں
جو کہ کافی ہو درِ لندن ہلانے کے لیے

آتشِ نمرود گر بھٹکی ہے کچھ پروا نہیں
