Two years after killing off his character Sherlock Holmes, author Arthur Conan Doyle is summoned to a grand country estate to investigate reports of a haunting. Desperate to prove the supernatural is real, Doyle arrives ready to believe, only to find himself haunted by the very detective he’d written out of existence. But as strange events unfold and dark secrets emerge, Doyle must confront the ghosts of his own creation and uncover the truth lurking beneath the manor’s elegant surface.
