The Christian life was never meant to be lived in isolation. God uses the local church to strengthen our faith, encourage us in times of difficulty, and help us persevere as we await Christ’s return. We are reminded that because of Christ’s finished work, believers have confidence to draw near to God and a responsibility to care for one another. Come be encouraged as we continue to discover why the church is essential to God’s design for His people and why gathering together matters for every believer.

In this passage, we are reminded of the great privilege believers have through Jesus Christ to draw near to God and to encourage one another in the faith. Hebrews 10:25 tells us, “not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near”

God never intended for the Christian life to be lived alone. The church is a gift of grace where believers worship together, grow together, and strengthen one another to persevere in Christ.

Come be encouraged as we see why gathering with God’s people is essential for every believer.
