If my own music productions have taught me anything, it’s that sound can hold memory, movement, and community all at once. And if you’re not familiar, Fête de la Musique is a French tradition where music spills into the streets and belongs to everyone.

This night, curated by as an extension of , celebrates the Black and q***r lineages of electronic music; from Chicago house to the ever-expanding sounds of the diaspora.

With one goal only: to make people dance.

Le 21 juin, célèbre les héritages noirs et q***r des musiques électroniques à l’occasion d’une soirée pensée comme le prolongement du lancement du podcast .

De la house à la techno, des clubs de Chicago aux scènes contemporaines, les musiques électroniques afro-diasporiques ont profondément transformé les cultures musicales mondiales. Pourtant, les récits de celles et ceux qui les ont façonnées restent encore trop souvent relégués à la marge.

Cette Fête de la musique est une invitation à réécouter ces histoires, à les faire vivre autrement et à célébrer les communautés qui continuent de les faire évoluer.

Pour clôturer cette saison, la Maison ouvre ses portes à une programmation qui réunit artistes, producteur·ices et DJ dans le renouvellement des scènes électroniques contemporaines.
