Our first event was all about bringing our community together, and Starter Space was kind enough to provide us with a location. Starter Space is an incubator and co-working space for startups in the community. We had a full house, and there was lots of energy and buzz around our very first event as an organization.

We were so excited that our very first event was a success, and we couldn't have done it without you! The support of our community meant so much to us, and the turnout was such a happy surprise (we're not going to lie, there were a few moments when we wondered if anyone was going to show up at all — we're going to credit that to first event jitters).

And we wanted to say thank you to Alex Mousan, who photographed our event and to Ashley Autumn Crane and Eric Flagg, who shot video. You guys are the best for volunteering your time to help capture the evening!

Come join us on Thursday, February 26th at Bo Diddley Plaza at 7PM. The Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Flat Land will be playing a free concert. We wanted to start a conversation with people in the community to get them thinking creatively, and we're going to continue the conversation at the Frank Street Fair. Keep a look out for our members handing out balloons, making new friends and asking all sorts of fun questions. Check out the video of some of our amazing members in action for a preview!

We had such a lovely time last Thursday supporting Ligature24 and hearing from the wonderful folks at First Magnitude Brewing Company! Their stories were awesome, and we can't wait for the Ligature24 event tomorrow evening (from 6-11pm at The Historic Depot Station). Come out and join us? We'd love to see you there.
