Your ability is not always your assignment.
Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you’re called to do it.
Just because you’re good at something doesn’t mean you’re supposed to build your life around it.
Just because people need you doesn’t mean you’re meant to be their savior.
Many of us spend years carrying responsibilities God never asked us to carry, saying yes to things He never assigned, and exhausting ourselves trying to be everything to everyone.
Not every opportunity is an assignment.
Not every need is your burden.
Not every talent is your calling.
Sometimes wisdom is found not in what you say yes to, but in what you have the courage to leave behind.
Your purpose is not found in doing everything you are capable of doing.
It’s found in faithfully doing what God has called you to do.
The world needs a Savior.
You are not Him.

What Would the 90-Year-Old You Tell You?
“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth…” — Ecclesiastes 12:1
Ecclesiastes begins with a hard truth:
“Meaningless, meaningless. Everything is meaningless.”
Yet it ends with a reminder that what truly matters isn’t found in accomplishments, possessions, titles, or applause.
Imagine for a moment that your 90-year-old self could sit down with you today.
What would they say?
Would they tell you to spend more time with your family?
To worry less and trust God more?
To learn His Word and write it on your heart before the storms come?
To forgive sooner?
To serve more?
To stop chasing things that won’t matter and start investing in things that will?
The wisdom we store in our hearts isn’t just for today. It’s what carries us through the days when life becomes difficult, uncertain, or painful.
So here’s the question:
If your 90-year-old self could speak to you today, what do you think they would beg you to do more of… and less of?
