WorkSource Georgia Mountains is proud to share another success story! Kimberly Hunt knew she wanted to make a change in her life, and WorkSource was privileged to help her along the way. Kimberly earned her ASN from North Georgia Tech and has started her new, exciting career! Way to go, Kimberly!

WorkSource Georgia Mountains was excited to attend the industry tours with the students in our Manufacturing Challenge Boot Camp. These students will earn several industry certifications such as OSHA safety, forklift operation, precision measuring, etc. The two-week class is taught by instructors from North Georgia Tech, and local businesses will interview with the students at the end of the training. WorkSource Georgia Mountains would like to thank United Way, North Georgia Tech, ASI Group, GM Wood Products, Pak-Pro, Patterson Pump, Sark Wire, and the Economic Development Boards from Stephens and Hart County for all of their help and support.

WorkSource GA Mountains was excited to be a part of the graduation of the SAIL students at Lanier Tech. We want to thank Lanier Tech, the employers, the graduates, and Greg and Shelley from Workforce Strategies Group for putting in the work and commitment to make this happen. WorkSource enjoyed being at the Goodwill-Cornelia Career and Resource Fair. If you are looking for work or in need of affordable services and live in the area, or if you are near the Goodwill in Oakwood, you should check them out. Their career centers are very helpful to job seekers and they often have job fairs.
