Headed to the beach? Enjoy the sun and remember to recycle your empty plastic and metal sunscreen bottles. If the bottle contains a spray pump, remove the pump and place it in the trash.
If you are away from home, remember to check locally to see what items are recyclable at your destination, since recycling varies by community. If your community doesn't accept squeezable plastic sunscreen tubes, see if your local Ulta Beauty store accepts the item through their Beauty Dropoff Recycling program. Learn more and find your nearest dropoff location at www.pactcollective.org/ultaxpact

This past Friday, we had a blast connecting with the folks of our area at Hall County’s Community Celebration. We shared resources for recycling in Hall County and played a little plinko with friends! The community took home goodies like t-shirts, hats, and 🌎 shaped stress balls, along with bags made from recycled bottles and maps of Hall County’s compactor sites.
If you didn’t know, there are 12 free compactor sites all across the county that accepts recycled materials like paper, plastic, metal, glass, clothing, and even motor oil.

Need suggestions? Check out this curated list of 10 Sustainable Brands Crafting Flip-Flops from SustainablyChicâ„¢ .
Some brands offer take-back programs to recycle flip flops. When replacing an old pair of shoes, check the company's website to see if they offer recycling for shoes. Please don't place flip-flops in your recycling bin or cart.
