🚦 Traffic Advisory for Butler visitors

GRU crews will perform transformer maintenance at Archer Road and SW 34th Street on Saturday, July 25, at 8 a.m. and again at 8 p.m. Each maintenance period is expected to last approximately one hour.

Traffic signals will be temporarily inoperable, and Gainesville Police officers will be on-site directing traffic.

Please plan ahead, expect delays, and use extra caution when traveling through the area.

Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) has notified us that crews will be performing transformer maintenance at the intersection of Archer Road and SW 34th Street on Saturday, July 25, at 8:00 a.m. and again at 8:00 p.m.

Each maintenance period is expected to last approximately one hour. During the work, the traffic signals at the intersection will be temporarily inoperable.

Gainesville Police Department officers will be on scene directing traffic to help keep vehicles moving safely.

Please plan ahead, expect delays, and use extra caution if traveling through the area. We appreciate your patience while GRU completes these necessary infrastructure improvements.
