I laughed until I cried. Go see this show at Brenau University. From design to performance, the Gainesville Theatre Alliance has, once again, put forth a quality production. Don’t miss this one.

Congratulations to the UGA Ballroom Performance Group for their outstanding 35th Anniversary performance of Ballroom Magic 2026! Kudos to Michael Fulford, Natalie Cox, and Mackenzie Fulford as well as the entire production team.

I had a wonderful time attending CastleFaire at Uhuburg Castle in Helen, Georgia. The last picture is my favorite.

Industry night and another Broadway-quality show at the production of The Wizard of Oz. I had the honor of sitting beside the mother of one of the actors in the “Ruby Munchkin Cast” that performed tonight. Not tagging the actor because the actor is a minor, but the delight on the actor’s face during the show was unmistakable. Proof that locally produced musicals can be amazing. This was further proof that “The Jitterbug” should have been included in the original movie. The icing on the cake was running into friends in the audience. Go see it if you can.

The Shakespeare Tavern’s production of A Christmas Carol was a delightfully poignant experience by an incredibly talented production team. It is a “must see” this holiday season. It was my pleasure to experience the performance by the red cast. Having seen many of the actors in the green cast in other productions, I have no doubt their version is equally incredible. Don’t miss this one. 🎬

My friend Captain Bicard “Bic” Lighter, member of Nottingham Local Guild of Lamplighters 1701 (part of the United Federation of Lamplighters) and distant relative of , ran into what appears to be some of his friends at the Georgia Renaissance Festival Fall Fling.
