Nonprofit supporting and walking alongside traumatic injury survivors and their families on their recovery journey.

Meet Brian. 🧡
In August of 2025, Brian’s life changed in an instant. While out for dinner with friends at a venue where he often performed as a musician, he stepped outside to take a phone call and was brutally assaulted by two strangers. The attack left him with a severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
Like many independent artists, Brian didn’t have health insurance. Unmarried and facing a long road to recovery, the immense responsibility of his care fell entirely on his parents.
When his neurologist stated he needed two weeks of intensive inpatient rehab before he could safely return home—at roughly $1,000 a day—that necessary care felt completely out of reach.
That is where Project One45 stood in the gap.
With the direct support of Project One45, Brian’s entire $14,000 inpatient stay was fully funded, giving him the critical care his doctors said he needed to make it home. Since then, Project One45 has stayed close to the family—delivering a full Thanksgiving meal to ease the burden during the holidays and purchasing a specialized $290 sit-to-stand therapy machine to aid his daily mobility.
Brian’s parents pour their hearts into his care every single day, and Brian is making steady progress. Recovery from a TBI isn't a sprint—it’s a long journey, and no family should have to walk it alone or go broke trying to save their loved one.

Hi everyone! I’m Erika (on the right, pictured here with our founders, Tyler and Taylor).
If you’ve noticed some new life on this page over the past few weeks, it's because Project One45 is growing! As the organization’s very first official new hire, I’m honored to join the team as the Fundraising & Donor Relations Coordinator.
With my background in advertising and marketing, my focus is on helping Tyler and Taylor scale up the incredible, heart-led work they’ve been doing!
When I’m not working to connect with our supporters, my life is beautifully full. My husband and I have been married for 15 years, and we stay busy raising our three kids and enjoying our little slice of country life here in North Central Florida.
For the past two years, this community has made an incredible turn out for our annual "Run with Purpose". But to truly transform “ Trauma Into Triumph” across North Central Florida and beyond, we need to stand in the gap for these families year-round.
To help make that happen, my focus will be on raising awareness, building genuine relationships with our donors, expanding our community partnerships, and ensuring that we have the resources needed so that no fighting family feels isolated on this challenging journey.
I’ll be working hard behind the scenes to connect with our local partners and map out some incredible community initiatives for the coming year, but first, I want to learn more about you. Our community is growing fast, and I would love to know more about our audience!
Drop a comment below and let me know how you connected with us.
* Are you a friend of the founders?
* A past 5K runner or volunteer?
* A fellow advocate or TBI survivor?
Say hi below- I can’t wait to get to know you all as we walk on this journey together!

Traumatic brain injuries launch families into a fierce, quiet battle—but the burden shouldn't be carried alone. Help us bring this struggle into the light.
Please share this post to your stories or page so we can reach more neighbors across North Central Florida and beyond. Let's make sure every fighting family knows they have a community ready to walk alongside them.

Four years ago today, our world completely changed.
On June 24, 2022, a severe car accident turned a regular day into a fight for survival. Looking at the photo of her vehicle, it is nothing short of a miracle that our co-founder, Taylor Eastridge is here today. But that day marks the beginning of a profound marathon with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
When the hospital doors close and the initial crisis fades, a new reality sets in. Families walking through a TBI diagnosis quickly learn that recovery isn’t measured in weeks—it’s measured in months, years, and an entire lifetime of small, quiet victories. The emotional, physical, and financial toll can leave you feeling completely isolated in the dark.
But out of that dark, Project One45 was born.
Our name comes straight from Luke 1:45: “Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!” It is our anchor, reminding us that even in the heaviest uncertainty, there is a promise of hope and purpose.
We didn’t start this nonprofit to just provide generic assistance. We started it because we know the weight of the road you are traveling. If your family is navigating the aftermath of a traumatic brain injury, we want you to know: You are not alone in this.
We have the patience to hear your unique story, the passion to listen deeply to what you actually need, and the commitment to help wherever and however we can. Whether it’s easing a financial burden or providing practical support for the daily grind of rehabilitation, our mission is simple: to walk alongside you on this journey.
Today, we honor how far Taylor has come and thank the Lord for His mercies.
Welcome to Project One45. We are so glad you’re here. 💙
