Join us in celebrating our veterans.

🇺🇸 Happy Veterans Day! 🇺🇸

Today, we honor and thank all who have served our country with courage, dedication, and sacrifice.

Along Historic Green Street, the veterans’ markers proudly display a heartfelt tribute installed by the Rotary Club of Hall County to honor the men and women who have served.

Take a moment to walk or drive down Green Street today and reflect on the freedom their service has protected. ❤️🤍💙

🇺🇸 Rotary Club of Hall County & Rock Creek Vietnam Veterans hosted a moving Memorial Day ceremony on Sunday at Rock Creek Veterans Park in downtown Gainesville.

Special recognition was given to the late Johnny Hulsey who led a movement for public recognition of all veterans from Hall County. Johnny’s family & friends joined Mayor of Gainesville, Sam Couvillon, in unveiling a permanent marker to remember the beloved Hulsey who poured his heart & soul into remembering the brave men & women who gave their lives for our freedom.

Thank you to this year’s speaker, Lt. Col. (British Army) Jonathan Pooley, Comandant of Corps of Cadets, Riverside Preparatory Academy.
