The Community Weatherization Coalition and the Latina Women's League had a great time learning more about the Bread of the Mighty and how we can work together to help serve more families in north Florida.

Did you know that the Bread of the Mighty Food Bank also diverts their waste to hog farmers to keep food waste out of landfills?

This is a beginner workshop! No experience necessary! Feel confident using basic tools and handle small repairs independently!

Rebuilding Together North Central Florida is an amazing organization focused on repairing homes, revitalizing communities and rebuilding lives! We have appreciated and admired their work in the community for years and are so excited to have the space to host this event AND salvaged material to use! It lines up perfectly with our mission, specifically the material we house at Renovator Reuse. Having the skills to do your own repairs can save people a lot of money and make homes last, double win!

Interns are vital to promoting the mission of the Community Weatherization Coalition and helping our community save energy and resources through office support, outreach and tune-ups.

We are so excited to have them and see them grow in their roles as interns :).

Hannah has been with the Community Weatherization Coalition for over two years and has done so much to help our community, including tune-ups, outreach, social media, newsletters, working in the office, and not to mention using Spanish to help expand our services to more neighbors in Alachua County. Hannah is off to her next adventure in the PeaceCorps in Moldova! We know you will continue to make a difference wherever you are, Hannah!

We will miss you so much, Hannah, and we wish you well in your next adventure!
