Unfortunately we have chose to sit out of the NHRA Route 66 Nationals this weekend. The last race in Charlotte we ran into some problems with the car. We decided step back and go through the car and the engines to make sure we aren’t over looking the issue. Our next event will be the Summit Nationals in Norwalk, OH. Good luck to everyone racing in Chicago this weekend. Looks like another tough field.

🏁 PRESS RELEASE — DMP Awnings Motorsports Division 🏁

Gainesville Raceway, Florida — April 1, 2026

DMP Awnings, in collaboration with KENTEX Roofing Systems, is proud to announce the successful test session of its newly unveiled Top Fuel Dragster, piloted by veteran driver Kirk Wolf, at Gainesville Raceway.

The test marked a pivotal milestone for the DMP Awnings – Kentex Roofing Systems partnership, showcasing the teams new 11,000-horsepower machine. Wolf, delivered consistent runs with a best of 3.70 @ 322 mph in the two day test session.

“This car is a beast,” said Wolf. “The DMP Awnings crew was flawless and has built something special, and I’m honored to help bring it to life.”

The team is expected to make its official NHRA debut later this summer, with the exact race to be announced in the coming weeks.
