I want to take a minute to thank all of the various bodies that came out today to help make this class a success. The work today was absolutely wonderful! The candidates truly received a proper welcome into the York Rite. It felt really nice seeing the work being done within the Gadsden York Rite facility.
I would also like to thank Companions Chris Atchley and Barry Blalock for stepping up and coordinating all the food and hospitality during the day. We received many compliments on the food and refreshments.
It was truly an honor and a pleasure facilitating the events today. We saw ritual exemplified by Mobile, Phenix City, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and Gadsden. Each of these bodies brought multiple candidates as well. Anniston was also represented with multiple candidates.
There were 25 candidates and 47 members in attendance.
