Nifty Needlers meets on the second Saturday and third Tuesday of each month. All skill levels are welcome. No registration is required.

Join us on Thursday, June 11, at 3 pm, for a Fossil Dig! Each participant will get their own miniature "archeological site" in a bowl to dig up and take home their very own treasures. This program is for students entering grades 4-8. Free tickets are available 45 minutes before the program. Space is limited. Materials are provided by the Friends of the Fulshear Branch Library.

Join us on Wednesday, June 10, at 3 pm and 4 pm, for a family friendly performance. Books Alive’s musical presentation of “The Ballerina with Webbed Feet” will be a foot-tapping good time. Free tickets will be available at the youth information desk 45 minutes prior to each start time. This program is made possible by the Friends of the Fulshear Branch Library. Space is limited.

Join us for story time this week (June 8, 9, 10) at the Fulshear Branch Library! We have several programs geared toward different age levels. This week's theme is Splash into a Story!


Pajama Night Story Time (for all ages) takes place on Mondays at 6 pm.

Toddler Time (for children 1-3 years old) takes place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:15 am and on Wednesdays at 11:15 am.

Preschool Story Time (for children 3-6 years old) is on Tuesdays at 11:15 am.


Please note that all story time programs require a ticket for entry. Free tickets are available 45 minutes before story time at the youth information desk. Space is limited.

🃏Do you want to play Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and other trading-card games?

Join us at the Fulshear Branch Library on June 11, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, for casual games of your favorite trading-card game. Some supplies will be provided.

Learn how living organisms are transformed into fossils and discover what fossils reveal about prehistoric life with our program, Paleontology. This program is for teens and adults!

Learn to make popular crafts of the era, such as keychains and mixed tape decorating, and participate in other retro activities. This program is for students entering grades 4-8. It’s time for Summer Reading! To celebrate this year’s theme of “Unearth a Story,” we’re hosting a Dino Day! Join us on Wednesday, June 3, at 3 pm and 4 pm, for an afternoon of dinosaur crafts, games, and activities. This program is open to all ages.
