Yesterday, we had the chance to revisit the rehab facility where Alex’s recovery began. This amazing place with its wonderful, caring staff jumpstarted Alex’s recovery from the effects of brain surgery. More to come

Today when I went to the gym I decided to take my own advice. After my usual treadmill workout, I added a few weights. The advice is this: Do as much as you can, and then do a little bit more. Where my daughter did her rehab after brain surgery, that saying was written on the wall.

This is my first workout after 1 week of being on vacation and off of exercise. For anyone who is struggling with ailments; physical, emotional or psychological I cannot recommend a good workout more highly!!
