Arf Scarf

Hello friends! These 2 donations to Pacific Pug Rescue and Ohio Pug Rescue represent the remainder of my April pouch sales. Since then, I took some time off. I honestly don’t know why. I’ve always enjoyed making the pug hats and scarfs, sewing all those face masks and pug pouches. Maybe it was burnout, i just don’t know. I did learn I still need to have a creative outlet and have been doing a bit more sewing. Perhaps it’s because I’m retired and can do and make things that bring me enjoyment. The need to help animal rescue groups is still important to me and I hope to move forward in this effort. Enjoy all the festivities of the holiday season. See you next year!

It’s National Volunteer Recognition Day! Many thanks to all the wonderful people who volunteer their time helping others, especially the terrific people at Ohio Pug Rescue and ! It’s also National Get To Know Your Customer Day. Leave a comment telling me a tidbit about yourself. I’ll start. Even though I help pug rescue groups through my crocheting and sewing efforts, I have never had a dog as a pet. I’ve had 3 cats during my adult life, however.

I’m back with 5 pouches. I feel like I’ve been gone forever. I read crafter postings telling their followers how easy and quick they are to make, not so for me. I’m conscientious about my finished items and this cold weather is not kind on my arthritis. I only have these 5 for now. They are $35, payable through PayPal. I wanted to close the year out by letting you know I made end of year donations to Ohio Pug Rescue and . Each group received $350. Understandably, it was a slow year and I’m optimistic about 2023!
