Fullerton College hosted its annual Parking Lot Prints event – a community gathering that celebrates printmaking in various forms. A collaboration between Professor of Printmaking Todd Smith and the art department, the event was a successful turnout that included food, music and interactive printmaking experiences!

Members of the Classified Senate team recently attended the Classified Leadership Institute for a professional development experience that strengthened leadership skills, built meaningful connections and more. 💪
The conference also featured Irvine Valley College President and FC alumnus, John Hernandez, who shared remarks on the power of presence and his educational experiences. Great work, Classified Hornets!

Fullerton College students in the fashion department and Baile Folklorico club recently hosted an impactful fashion show paying homage to traditional regional Mexican dance, music and fashion.
A successful turnout, students walked the runway to highlight Mexican American diaspora fashion, social movements and culture. We love to see our students' visions come to life!

The Math and Computer Science Division team recently gathered faculty for the Math Literacy Project, an initiative designed to increase the capacity of math faculty and students to engage and thrive in a math setting with evidence-based practices to increase engagement, success and achievement.
The project included eight sessions with the team and resources to assist faculty as they work to transform their classrooms to be more inclusive, interactive and culturally responsive. Excellent work to our division team and Dean, Dr. Sam Foster for leading this effort!

Fullerton College recently welcomed the new Geospatial Technologies Certificate to its curriculum. Developed by Department of Geography Professors Joseph Diminutto and Aline Gregorio, this fully online certificate teaches students the core foundation of geospatial science with the focused goal of gaining a professional, competitive edge. 🌍
