Troy High School is a public high school in Fullerton, CA. Students may test into our program from within our attendance area.

Troy Tech is a Magnet program within the public high school focusing on 21st Century Technology skills. 65% of our students are in the Troy Tech Magnet Program. If from outside our attendance they may attend, if accepted based on entrance exam, with approval from their home district.

Troy is being recognized as a 2026 California Distinguished School for Achievement Gap Closers by State Superintendent Tony Thurmond and the California State Board of Education. Achievement Gap Closers are schools that are accelerating academic progress for two or more groups that have been historically underserved, while also demonstrating achievement for all students that is above the state median and maintaining or increasing academic performance for all students. Congratulations to our Troy family for “always doing what is best for kids.”

Over the weekend, our Troy Cyber national finalist team, Runtime Terror, competed in the CyberPatriot 18 National Finals Competition in DC and won 1st place in Cisco and 2nd place overall in the All-Service Division out of 1,342 teams! A very special congratulations to Joshua Kim (captain), Charlie He, Allen Hsieh, Hogan Kim, Steven Liang, and Elvina Liou for all their hard work and amazing accomplishment!

The LAST Testing Date for Troy Tech/IB/Cambridge/Honors for Current 8th grade students is this Saturday January 24, 2026. Arrive at Troy High School’s North Gym at 7:15 a.m. on January 24th. Applicants can register online for testing on applicants.troyhigh.com through January 21, 2026. Walk-ins are accepted too; we will test ALL that attend. Testing covers midyear eighth grade content in math and English, and the format includes multiple-choice questions and an English essay. The best preparation for testing is successful progress in a challenging eighth grade course of study.

You are invited to the Thursday, January 15, 2026 Troy Tech, International Baccalaureate, and Cambridge Information Night in the North Gym from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. followed by Open House 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. featuring performances, student panel, and classroom programs. All visitors are welcome. No reservation or parking permit is needed since the event is after school hours. There is campus parking lot access off Dorothy Lane as well as North Hale Avenue. Troy Tech Junior High Visits! We have been busy visiting private junior highs this October as we represent Troy Tech. The visits have included: Heights Christian in La Mirada, Allegiance STEAM Academy in Chino, Carden Academy in Whittier, The Pegasus School in Huntington Beach, and St. Mark’s Lutheran School in Hacienda Heights. We also visited the 8th grade classes at Heritage Oak Private Education in Yorba Linda and St. Angela Merici Parish School in Brea during their school day. If you know of a private K-8 school that is interested in a visit from Troy Tech staff, email [email protected].
