What is Prop 19?
Example:

A senior couple purchased their home years ago for $200,000 and pay $2,200 in property taxes.

With Prop 19 they can sell their $600,000 home and buy a new home home for $600,000.

Instead on paying $6,600 of property taxes, they can take their original tax base with them and still pay only 2,200 on property taxes!
