Our first Vibeflow event had a 3 week runway.
No name. No identity. No roadmap.
Just a vision and the willingness to build something from nothing.

We turned the venue into a living city. Liquor store bar, subway walls, projection mapped streets, a Go-Go scene, graffiti, everything.

It set the tone for what Vibeflow would become.
But it also exposed something in me…

I was trying to carry everything on my back.
And I burned out fast.

That’s when I realized:
If I wanted this thing to grow…
I had to grow as a leader first.

More structure. Stronger systems. Better boundaries.

And that’s been the journey ever since.

If you’re building something too… don’t try to do it all alone.
Build the system so the vision can breathe.

I’ve been so focused on building Vibeflow for other artists that I never stopped to ask why I wasn’t stepping into the light myself.
Someone checked me the other day:
“Why don’t you play the livestream?”
My first instinct was to protect the mission…
“It’s not about me… it’s about the DJs who deserve a platform.”
But later that night, the truth hit me harder than the question:
I wasn’t protecting the culture.
I was hiding behind excuses.
Old music. Outdated USB. “I’ll update it later.”
All of it was comfort disguised as purpose.
So here’s where I’m at:
I’m done playing small.
I’m updating the catalog.
I’m sharpening my voice.
I’m stepping into the version of me the future requires.
If you’ve been waiting on yourself too… this is your sign:
Stop shrinking. Start building.
The world already knows what you do.
Now show them who you are.
