We are deeply saddened to share the passing of the father of one of our graduates. Our hearts are with the family during this difficult time. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog.

Congratulations to Mason Berry, Jordan Castillo, Hannah Castillo and Karen Bolin for their awards and accomplishments this year. They represented Frostproof well at the Polk County All Sports Awards this evening. Mason Berry was in Circle of Champions for being State Champion. Jordan and Hannah Castillo were both Ledger Player of the year for Golf. And Karen Bolin was Ledger Boys Golf Coach of the year.

A year of unforgettable moments. This is Florida high school sports. This is the FHSAA.

What an amazing day at Tenoroc High School! Our Leadership Academy was in full swing today, and it did not disappoint! We had incredible sessions, outstanding participation, and the energy in the room was electric!

A huge shoutout to our Polk County School Administrators for showing up and showing OUT! We were even honored to have our Superintendent join us. Not only did Mr. Heid serve us lunch, but he also jumped right in and participated in our sessions alongside us. That kind of servant leadership means everything!

Days like today remind me exactly why I love what I do. I am so proud and grateful to be a part of the Polk County Schools family!

Last month, while attending the Senior Farewell Ceremony at Frostproof Middle-Senior High School, I had the opportunity to take this photo with the school’s Teacher of the Year, Sandy Kincaid, and School Related Employee of the Year, Abbey Cranor. Both individuals play an important role in supporting student success each day and are truly deserving of our appreciation and gratitude.
