The Immobilization Trap is real. "Rest it" sounds safe-until it steals motion. I see this pattern weekly: patients told to "stay off it completely" for weeks, only to develop stiffness that's harder to treat than the original injury.

Stretching your ankle will increase flexibility and stretch your calf muscles. While sitting, keep your knee straight and loop a towel under your foot. Pull the towel towards yourself until you feel the stretch. Do this for both feet and try and complete 2 sets of 10.
