The wait is over! The Yo Gabba Gabba gang is back! I had so much fun serving as Animation Production & Payroll Manager for WOMO studio on Yo Gabba Gabbaland! The much-anticipated new season is now streaming on Apple TV.

Being silly is so much fun!

This color palette is giving summer vibes. I’m thinking back to two summers ago in Frisco, Colorado. Life is better at the beach.

For the past two years, I’ve been the dedicated web guy for Gender Justice. It’s been fun to help manage their sites as they expand the important social justice work they are doing.

Gender Justice utilizes my quarterly support plan to guarantee their sites are running efficiently and securely, staying current with design and development trends, and constantly evolving. They’re not big enough to need a full-time, in-house web person, but I feel like a member of the team with the level of support I provide for them.

I thought it would be fun to bring back my Color Palette Inspiration series. This is from my visit to Crater Lake National Park back in September 2022. These colors would look awesome in a cozy family room. Or as a website theme, of course!

REAL TALK: I’m a better web developer than a web designer. I geek out more about building a website with CSS, HTML, and PHP code than I do about designing a site from scratch. While I can do both, I thrive more with the development parts of a project.

After a lot of thinking about my Pixeleric business and plans, I’d like to see if I can shift my business focus away from designing and building a website all by myself toward doing the development only - taking an agency or designer’s idea and bringing it to life through code and WordPress.
