Apparently Skelly’s been watching Wednesday.
You didn’t think she’d stay quiet forever.

This started as a sketch and turned into this.

Sketch for a new piece.

This is where Skelly began.

She started as a single gallery painting.
Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with her and the story followed.

Years later, she became the heart of the Skelly books.
And lately, I’ve been thinking about where she might want to go next.

Just listening to the character again.

A cold break between long days.
Mister Banks approved.

Built from the earlier sketch, this is where it landed.
The shape locked in, the attitude sharpened, and the character finally showed itself.

This one is still taking shape.
Loose lines, just enough to see where it’s heading.

This still works.
So I’m leaving it.
