If youβve ever wondered what would happen if an indoor playground and an adventure course had a babyβ¦ this is it.
π WHAT IT IS
Fritzβs Adventure is a massive indoor/outdoor adventure park in The Colony where kids (and grownups π) can climb, crawl, zip, slide, tunnel, and explore through more than 100,000 square feet of adventure. (Grandscape)
π THE PARENT TAKE
I went in fully expecting to supervise.
Instead, I found myself climbing, crawling through tunnels, and proving once again that grownups are really just big kids with a credit card. π
One of my favorite things about this place is that it isnβt one of those spots where you sit on a bench scrolling your phone while your kids play. The whole experience is built for families to do together. (Fritz Adventure)
π BEST AGES
Toddlers through adults.
The little kids can explore while older kids and adventurous parents can tackle climbing walls, ropes courses, tunnels, ziplines, and more. (Fritzβs Adventure)
π MOM TIP
Wear athletic shoes and clothes you can actually move in.
Trust me on this oneβ¦ youβll tell yourself youβre not climbing anything and then 10 minutes later youβll be halfway through an obstacle course. π
π PRICING
β’ Ages 4 & under: FREE
β’ General Admission starts at $24.99
β’ All Access starts at $34.99 and includes the zipline experiences for eligible guests. (Fritzβs Adventure)

We had one very important question during Camp West Science Weekβ¦
Which creates the bigger explosion: Mentos or baking soda? π€―
Naturally, there was only one way to find out.
The campers made their predictions, and we turned our backyard into a giant soda laboratory. π
π WHAT YOU NEED
β’ Diet Coke 2-liter bottles
β’ Mentos
β’ Baking soda
β’ Measuring cups
β’ A sense of adventure
π THE EXPERIMENT
We tested different bottles using Mentos and others using baking soda to see which reaction would create the biggest geyser.
The kids were completely invested in the results and the squeals every time a bottle erupted were worth it all.
π MOM TIP
Buy a few different soda brands too! The kids loved making predictions about which one would launch the highest.
π CAMP WEST SCIENCE WEEK TAKEAWAY
Turns out science gets a lot more exciting when it shoots 15 feet into the air. π
One of my favorite parts of camp has been watching all little campers get genuinely excited about asking questions, making predictions, and discovering what happens next.

Mom to mom⦠this might be one of the most underrated spots in Frisco.
We spent over 4 HOURS here and the only reason we left was because they were literally closing for the day. π My kids were already asking when we could come back before we even made it to the parking lot.

A few weeks ago, Camp West was just an idea.
Now itβs 34 campers, 12 camp counselors, countless snack breaks, and hearing:
βWhat are we doing at camp today?β
about 100 times before noon. π
And honestly? I love it.
As moms, itβs easy to put pressure on ourselves to create the βperfectβ summer. But these kids donβt care if everything is perfectly planned. They just want adventure. They want their friends. They want popsicles, silly games, science experiments, and something to look forward to when they wake up each morning.
Watching them run up excited to see whatβs happening at camp each day has been my favorite part.
Itβs a good reminder that sometimes the best summer memories arenβt the big vacations or expensive activities. Theyβre the random Tuesday mornings spent outside with friends, making the most of the season weβre in.
Hereβs to saying yes to the chaos, yes to community, and yes to one more summer weβll never get back. π
