Fellowship with friends and singing "Old Gospel Songs." Supper Club was birthed during the Christmas season of 2008. A chorus from a song describes it best.
A desire was created in our hearts to reunite with friends from years past. The common bond was Gospel songs and Hymns from our childhood. "Loving God, loving each other,
Making music with my friends,
Loving God, loving each other,
And the story never ends."

It was rainy and cold out but friends and family warm our hearts...
Supper Club December 31, 7:30 PM Renford and Lana's house
Many of our Supper Club friends met our friends, Gus and Winnie MacDonald last year when they attended one of our Supper Club meetings. We have been friends with them since 1986 when we first moved back to the Dallas area. Our daughters were best friends all through school so we spent many a day with them at sporting events and other school and church activities. This morning Gus passed away. He was fun loving guy and never met a stranger. He was a Veterinarian in the Dallas area for years. Please remember Winnie and his children Glynis, Gordy, Tabby and Maggie in your
prayers.

The date has been set for our next Supper Club. It is July 21 at The Ranch at Lonesome Dove. Plan on being there. It will a fun day.
