The first official Summit Splitfest was one for the books! Despite Colorado having the worst snow year on record, the backcountry community showed up with massive amounts of stoke to celebrate splitboarding and help support Friends of CAIC.
No matter the conditions, you can always count on the splitboard community to get out, get high and get after it. Splitfest Safety Sesh! Sit in with the experts at Saturday night at 6:30pm for Ortovox Safety Sessions – SAM3D - Avalanche Danger & Tour Planning.
Use the Ortovox SAM3D model, a hands-on, interactive learning tool to graphically demonstrate avalanche risk management and tour planning. This class will be FREE at Splitfest but be sure to register ahead of time via the link in our bio.
