Surrender For Sanity

This was last Saturday and Sunday....I went in the salon with a last minute decision to go completely grey or silver with hints of lavender. Well, I got what you see here, and then some, and I absolutely love it! It's completely different for me, more of a honey blonde. We didn't want to add a lot of chemicals, so this is what I got.

This reminds me so much of how God works. You go about life with your own goals and plans, but He gives you something totally unexpected and much better than you could ever imagine. Imagine what it would be like to give up total control over your life and surrender to God. Having that faith in Him to guide you would be so scary, but worth it. God's plan is to prosper us, not to harm, give us hope and a future. You know the verse, Jeremiah 29:11, it's one of my favorites. He already has a plan for our lives, it's already laid out. Plus, He's our creator and who knows us best! Sometimes you must surrender for your sanity. I'm so thankful I did!
