The creators of Bespoke Bitters Co were at a cocktail bar in their hometown of Denver, CO when they noticed a bottle of Root Beer Bitters behind the bar. They looked online to try and buy a bottle but didn't find anything they wanted. Instead, they found a book on how to make bitters. Trying my hand at the again. I thought I’d try to balance a (plastic) wrench, but it wasn’t to be. Patches O'Houlihan would be so disappointed. I also need to work on the proportions because this drink is TART!
1 1/2 oz
1 oz maraschino liquor
1/2 oz heavy cream
1/2 oz tart cherry juice #
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz lime juice
A few drops orange flower water
30 grams egg whites

What do you do with your used corks? There are a lot of really fun ideas for how to use “reclaimed corks” on Pinterest. This seemed like the easiest, but it was more difficult than I expected because I had to match corks that were exactly the same size. I still have quite a few match-less corks after this project. That just means we need to drink more wine! 🍷
