FYI...

Photos from Summit Fire & EMS's post 12/07/2019

Our hearts are heavy... Summit county has lost a true hero.

Ken was a husband and father first, a friend to all, and an incredible firefighter! There was many a time when we, as a crew of firefighters would be silent, confounded by some problem. Then, in the "Jonsey" sort of way, Ken would say something regarding it and the solution would be abundantly clear; Then we would get back to work... That's how he served his fellow Firefighters and Chief's, ... and that's how he served his community and country. Ken, you will be sorely missed our friend!

The training center's hearts and prayers are with his beautiful family and with all of you who had the honor of knowing this great man!
